Gamebirds: Included in the Clary Creek Upland membership are 20 pheasants, which may be liberated for multiple hunts (minimum of 4 pheasants for a member hunting alone or 2 pheasants/hunter when a member brings guests). Half of the pheasants must be used by Jan. 1st and the remainder must be used by Mar. 1st or be forfeited. After liberating the 20 included pheasants, members may buy additional birds for liberation at the following rates: $15/pheasant; $12/Chukar; $7.00/Quail. ($2@ more after Jan.1) Members and their guests may shoot and kill more birds than liberated without exra cost. When members invite a guest, a $2/bird surcharge will be applied to ½ of the birds used. Definition of Walk-Ons: A walk-on is a hunt where no birds are liberated for the hunt (one hunts with birds roaming freely on the preserve). If a guest walks-on with the member, it counts as one guest pass and 2 walk-ons. Walk-ons normally cost $30/person and are only available to members and their guests. Family & Guests: Individual/Family Memberships for the Clary Creek Upland Hunting Club include all members of the immediate family including spouse and children under 18 or in college (they are not counted as guests). All family members must be accompanied by the Club Member while on the premises. An individual member may bring up to 10 guests during the year; any non-member may come as a guest only 2 times during the year, after which they must become members if they want to continue to use the preserve that hunting year (Sept 1-Aug 31). Corporate members have unlimited guests. 5-Stand Sporting Clays: Each membership includes 10 rounds of 5-stand. (12 for Corporate Memberships) These may be used any time during the hunting year (Sept 1-Aug 31). Additional rounds cost $7.50/rnd. Scheduling: Members get scheduling priority over day hunters; hunts must be scheduled at least 24 hrs. in advance. Cancellations must be received 24 hrs in advance, or you pay for any birds scheduled. There is no limit to the number of times a member can hunt on the preserve. However, after using all the free birds and walk-ons, a member must purchase additional birds for liberation to hunt on the facilities. Exception: a member may hunt with another member using his free birds or walk-ons. Members may reserve the use of the clubhouse for special events. The club house may be used by the members at any time other than during times it has been reserved. All morning hunts will start by 8:00 am and end at 12:00, noon. Afternoon hunts will start by 1:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm (or dusk, whichever comes first). Individuals will be assigned either to the morning or afternoon 4 hour hunts, only. If hunters want to extend their hunting time, the extended time will be counted as a walk-on |
